4 more days to do my summer reading work and i still have 2 books to read and 3 pages to write. Sparknotes, you are temporarily my new best friend.
Got my school ID last week (they looked like crap. they always look like crap. stupid school pictures.), saw people, tried to help the anime club remember who the hell we chose as secretary. went again yesterday with the guys (Joseph H., Cristian, Felipe [he's a freshman now], Quyen, David V., and Julian[wasn't expecting him] to get our schedules, textbooks, and lockers. couldn't get my schedule nor textbooks because they need a proof of address. tried to help the anime club remember who the hell who chose as secretary. decided to go visit Mr. VanCoverdan and found out I got a 91 on his final... YES! [got an 84 for that semester can you see me doing my happy dance i'm doing my happy dance]. got a locker with the guys (minus Julian [disappeared] and David [already had his]), saw lots more people (Freddy shaved his mustache; I almost didn't recognize him), came home and found out that "oh hey look, my bus stop isn't the same distance away from the apartment as the school is this year yay". went back today, sat in the attendance office for a while, got my address confirmed, got my schedule (no teacher names OR room numbers? what the hell), hung with Brittney while waiting for textbooks, went home and did nothing while thinking of how I should be reading for english class.
105 hours left until advocacy starts the first day of school! I'm actually pretty excited [other than the whole "you know that project's due in 2 weeks, right?" "you know that homework's due today, right?" "you know we have a test in 4 minutes, right?" type of thing].

gotta print out sparknotes and pretend that that's my book now kthnxbai

So Gary came back to school yesterday and seemed pretty alright seeing as he had is skateboard in his hand and fake-punched Johanna =] ...although he wasn't here today... or maybe i just didn't see him :P
And I was supposed to go to the BISA (Bellaire International Student Association) festival... but then mom didn't take me >.< According to Julian, I missed some pretty damn awesome stuff... but no one seems to have taken pics >.<

And apparently someone I know had her mail gone through earlier today... as in "someone came to her house and took stuff from her mailbox and ripped open a bunch of stuff and stabbed a newspaper on a metal stake sticking out of the ground" O.o She's pretty scared... and HPD says they can't do anything about it wtf?! no investigation, no officer on standby with them just in case the person tries to come back and do something. My mind is boggled. I'm hoping she stays safe =[

In 6th period English, I have a class with Aaron S. who has 5th period gym with Cristian and our friend Gary, and Aaron told me that some dumbass in the locker room saw a big concrete slab and decided 'hey! I guess I'll toss this over these set of lockers into the next aisle where people are :D'. It then proceeded to hit Gary in the head... at which point he started to bleed. I think he's @ the doctor now but I'm not sure... The guy who threw it got arrested. I need to find a way to find out how Gary's doing.

And apparently my bad sleeping habits have risen again  (if that wasn't apparent enough with my being counted absent for 1st period twice this week. stupid alarm)... After this I'm going to sleep... probably.

Has anyone watched Kite Runner? We watched [half of] it in my geography class today. We were supposed to read the book but instead we're reading Three Cups of Tea. I wish we read Kite Runner this year. It seems so........ interesting. And sad. And epic? Yes, epic. I wanna finish watching it now. But need sleep. Crap I missed Clerks again!

It's... slightly addictive. I finally made one yesterday [Sprout said "Why did you make one on a Thursday of all days?!"] cuz I was bored... and procrastinating. And now I shall go back to it and find more people I know. :|

I only remember this because Bolinger先生 reminded us =P But what if I don't like dolls?

I haven't updated this in a while... lol There goes that plan I made a while back to update weekly or something? Haha fail.

Today was the Language Arts TAKS [Texas Assessment of Knowlegde and Skills]. Yay. =| But it wasn't so bad this year. There were only 2 stories [and a visual representation] and only 30+ multiple-choice and 3 open response questions to go with it. Normally there's more... or have I just over-dramatizied it in my head...? Meh. I can't wait until the other TAKS. But only because (except for the Math one) I don't have to be there! Ahhhh the life of a freshman >=] So for those few days, I can come to school hours late and not get in trouble woot!

Okay... I should probably go do that essay thing that's due tomorrow... Guess I'll update with more crap no one wants to hear later =)

At one of the city's public libraries with my sister (yeah. the computer is that bad. or rather the internet is). They've updated their screens since I was last here. No wait today [there were like 5 open computers... guess everyone's out x-mas shopping =P] ummmm yeah. have to print out a Border's coupon [Rewards member ftw! xD] so i can buy a book for school... and then it's off to the mall to start finish my x-mas shopping (I got some christmas money early so wooot!). I miss MapleStory now. Stupid computer. In other news~~ My last day of this school semester was on Friday and I finally started reading Breaking Dawn on Sunday... and 1 in the morning... cuz I went to sleep and 3 in the afternoon the day before and consequently woke up at midnight o.O stupid sleeping habits. Gos that book is good... I'm not gonna wanna give it back (borrowed it from Johanna like a month ago xD) Also, on the 11th afterschool...

HOLY SH-- snow... in Houston... well it was more like small pieces of hail and the ocassional snowflakes where I lived so no snowballs or anything but I heard that Sugarland and some other places were able to build snowmen... =[ none for me this year lol maybe in 2012

And now for the evil.
My McAfee Virus Protection expired about a week ago. Under normal circumstances, I just say damnit and move on. But in the few days that we've been without it, pop-ups have been attacking my screen and now my computer's restarting. Not as bad as last time where it was restarting before it could even finish logging on; it's just restarted twice in the past 15 minutes but still gives me enough time to do stuff (like type this). But the first time it restarted, Firefox didn't save my tabs [no restore session... what?!] so I had to sort through the history and find them. And in the process of them loading [because my internet keeps having moments of being slow as hell (I had to force myself not to say balls instead of hell... thanks a lot Gary)] the computer restarted... and didn't save my damned tabs... and the history was blank wtf?!?! And then the icons and start bar disappeared so I turned it off [via the PC's power button] and back on. But then when I logged it back on they were both still gone. So Yay! for Windows Task Manager being able to pop up on here by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and for letting me open up new tasks like Mozilla Firefox! And that's how I'm typing this wishing for some new virus protection =D ... D=<

Now I'm gonna go try to finish some shit before this thing dies.
